High End Cooktops
If a kitchen could miss an appliance or two a kitchen without a cooktop is useless. Cooktop is definitely the most important and the most frequently used kitchen appliance and for that reason it should be chosen with great care.
A typical modern kitchen most commonly includes one of the three types of cooktops: electric, induction and gas cooktop, while all types have their strong supporters claiming particular type is superior over the other two. To determine which one if any at all of three types is the best it is necessary to find out more about their advantages and disadvantages. Electric and induction glass-ceramic cooktops are the most popular types because of the convenience of maintenance and cleaning. There are any little holes or uneven surface areas and they require very little time to clean because most foods do not stick to ceramic. Induction cooktop is commonly considered superior over electric cooktop because it is more energy-efficient but it is more expensive and requires ferromagnetic pots to work, while ceramic surface in both types can be broken if dropping a pot.
If you prefer electric or induction cooktops over gas you are highly recommended to consider purchasing high end cooktop regardless which type you choose. High end electric and induction cooktops will not break so easily if you drop a pot (although you are highly recommended not to try), are more energy-efficient, heat the pot to the desired temperature in shorter time and include wide variety of special features which make both cooking and cleaning a lot easier. If you prefer cooking over the flame you do not have to spent hours for cleaning of gas cooktop either if choosing a high end gas cooktop.
